CD cases

You may or may not know that there are several different design of CD cases. The most common case today is the Jewel CD Case design which is a plastic case which can hold from 1 CD to 4 depening on the size.

These are most popular today as they are cheap to create and also keep the CD safer from scratching or breaking. However there are other designs which are as follow...

Other formats can include:

Digipak - A Digipak is a case which consists of a plastic CD tray placed inside a cardboard cover which useually folds over it. These are not as popular today as they cost more to make however they are much more eco friendly.

Discbox Slider - This is a cardboard case which looks more like an LP case rather than a CD case however it it smaller

Paper Sleeve- This is the cheapest design due to its simplisity. However these are maninly used for software cases rather than CD cases.

For my CD case i will be using a Digipak case this is because i like the idea of being able to add more images of the artist as well as having space to add an insert on the band. I also think Digipaks look a lot smarter which i think would appeal to more people.
