My Bands Tribe

After using the quiz 'Find your tribe' i found out that the artist of my chosen song fit the stereotype of a 'Townie'. Townies are described as 'mainstream' which i personally think is a good result as the music we have chosen can then be classed as mainstream gaining as much popularity as possible, despite the fact that the band are originally Alternative.

As we have found our band is more mainstream, we have decided that our music video will be more urban, with city and beach landscapes/locations. We have decided to do film some of our video at the beach this is to contrast with the city landscape.
Our actors in the band will be dressed in casual wear which is also popular for example popular brans such as; Jack Wills, Hollister and Addidas. The reason we have decided to do this is to make the band seem more mainstream than alternative to gain more popularity.
Although 'Towie's' are described as people who love clubs we have decided not to film and clud shots, simply because the tempo and style of the song doesn't fit this unless we were to use the shot in slow motion as a flashback.
We are more likely to use Non ambient lighting compared to ambient due to the fact that it will be hard to get hold of certain artificial lights.
In our music video we will be using a variety of shots to show emotions as the song progresses the shots we have decided to use so far are, close up, extream close up, tracking shot, point of view, establishing shot, over the shoulder shot and mid shot.
